You can store flammable liquids outside of a flammable liquid cabinet, although itās important to know the class of the liquid and how much can be stored per square metre.Ā
Should I put my flammable liquids cabinet outside?Ā
This is highly warned against, but not necessarily illegal. The issue with outdoor flammable cabinets is that they are more susceptible to deterioration, and when this happens you are no longer compliant.Ā Ā
What signage does my flammable cabinet need?
When you purchase from Spill Station, signage is often included. But if youāre still curious this is what you need to accurately sign your flammable liquid storage cabinet.

- Ā Ā Name and address of the manufacturer.
- Ā Ā The maximum capacity the cabinet can hold.
- Ā Ā Class 3 Flammable Liquids need a dangerous goods label at least 250 mm in length.
